The form is simple on purpose. Korean craft tends toward restraint — the beauty is in proportion, surface, and the evidence of a hand at work, not in ornament for its own sake.
Material & making
Made from lacquered wood inlaid with mother-of-pearl (najeon). Because each piece is finished by hand, small variations in tone, grain or line are normal — they're the signature of a real maker, not flaws. No two are exactly alike.
Living with it
Set it where light moves across it through the day — a shelf, an entry console, a desk corner. It asks for nothing and quietly changes the room.

Shipping & Handling
- Ships from Seoul, South Korea via tracked international courier (K-Packet / EMS depending on weight & destination).
- Dispatch: 2–5 business days after order (each piece is sourced & inspected before it ships).
- Transit: typically 7–18 business days depending on destination and customs.
- Customs & duties: import duties or taxes in the destination country are the buyer's responsibility and are not included in the price. Most orders fall under de minimis thresholds, but please check your country's rules.
- Tracking is provided for every order. Free shipping over $80 (international) / $35 (Korea).
Handling — Fragile
- This piece is hand-made and delicate. It is wrapped and padded for safe transit.
- Minor variations in colour, grain or finish are inherent to handcraft and are not defects.
- In the rare event of transit damage, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos for a replacement or refund.
